Current public language coverage
The selector currently offers 15 languages: English and 14 translated options. The broader 20-language program is not a claim that 20 editions are live. Marathi, Telugu, Tamil, Vietnamese, and Nigerian Pidgin are not currently offered in the public selector.
A language option does not guarantee every page, source document, or newly added record is translated. English may appear where a translation is unavailable or withheld. Availability, automated checks, and documented human review are separate statuses.
English is the authoritative edition. Machine-assisted translations may render before human confirmation when they satisfy the applicable automated-assurance policy. A translation that fails automated assurance is withheld and authoritative English is shown instead.
Human verification status is therefore not the same thing as rendering status. Unconfirmed critical statements may render only from the controlled Critical Translation Registry and pages carrying them show a verification notice. Failed-assurance critical translations do not render.

The public policy is explicit: controlled critical translations that have not yet received human confirmation may still be displayed with a notice when they pass the automated checks required for rendering. A failed automated-assurance result withholds that translation and displays the authoritative English statement instead. Human confirmation remains separately tracked and is required before a translation is described as human-verified.

Critical Translation Registry

These statements are held apart from the general corpus because a mistranslation could cause real harm. They render only from the registry, never from the general dictionary. Pages containing unconfirmed critical statements carry a notice; ordinary translated content does not, and is never flagged. Translations that failed automated assurance are withheld entirely and the English text is shown instead.
No critical translation is currently recorded as human-confirmed. Unconfirmed or withheld safety, consent, withdrawal, privacy, and legal statements should be checked against the authoritative English edition before being relied upon.

These counts cover active public locales for which a governed automated corpus currently exists. They do not mean all translations have completed publication assurance. Automated assurance is technical verification only and remains separate from human verification and publication approval.
